Two things that are normal the first time

1. It works only where your plan covers

Your Noomi provides internet in the country or region your plan is for — and nowhere else. A France plan works in France, not in the country next door. Carry it across a border and it stops; back in a covered area, it connects again.

Tip — Check your destination is covered before you travel.

2. The first connection can take up to 7 minutes

The first time you switch on in your destination, the device registers with the local network. That can take up to 7 minutes, and the wait varies by place. It's normal, and it happens only on that first power-on — after that, connecting is quick.

THREE STEPS

Out of the box, in under a minute

Turn it on

Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds. When the Wi-Fi light stays steady, your Noomi is online and ready.

Connect your phone

Scan the Wi-Fi QR on the back to join instantly — no password to type. Or pick the Noomi network in your Wi-Fi settings and enter the password printed beside the QR. Up to 10 devices at once.

Charge your phone

Pull out one of the built-in cables — USB-C, Lightning-compatible, or Micro-USB. Plug it into your phone and press the power button once to start charging. Wi-Fi keeps running while you charge.

What the indicator lights mean

A row of small lights sits beside the Noomi wordmark on the front. Here is what each one is telling you.

Lit while the device is on.
Wi-Fi
On — Wi-Fi availableFlashing — connectingOff — Wi-Fi unavailable
Signal strength
Green — goodYellow — moderateRed — weakRed flashing — no usable signal
Battery
Four lights. Each one is about 25% of a full charge.

Unlimited with Fair Use. We never cap your data. Local carriers may slow speeds during peak periods — we pick operators who do this least. High-speed access typically resets the next day.
