Noomi rents a physical pocket Wi-Fi + power-bank device for the dates you booked. The device remains Noomi's property at all times. You agree to return it in working order, with its included items, at the end of your rental period.
When you book, your card is securely saved with our payment processor, Stripe. Noomi never sees or stores your full card number. By booking, you authorize Noomi to charge that saved card — without you present — for the amounts described in these terms: a device that is not returned, damage beyond normal wear, late-return rate accrual, and any included items that ship with the device but don't come back.
You authorize these charges up to the amounts set out in section 3: at most $199 for a device that isn't returned or is returned damaged beyond repair, $15 for a missing cable, $10 for a missing pouch, plus any late-return days at your booked daily rate. We email a receipt for any such charge. Most rentals incur none of these — the card stays on file in case one applies.
A device that is not returned or comes back damaged beyond repair is charged up to $199 to your card on file — one charge in either case, because both leave us without a usable device. Damage protection ($2.99/day) waives this $199 device charge. Normal wear (scratches, minor cosmetic damage) is not chargeable. Liquid damage or device-bricking damage is treated as damaged beyond repair, or as not returned if the device can't be recovered, unless covered by protection.
Your rental ships with a USB-C charging cable and a travel pouch. If either is missing from the return envelope, we charge a per-item fee to your card on file: up to $15 for the cable and up to $10 for the pouch. These accessory fees are separate from, and smaller than, the device charge, and are not waived by damage protection. The amounts above are the standard charges; the actual amount billed will not exceed them.
We allow a 48-hour grace period after your booked return date. After that, the daily rental rate for your destination continues to accrue until the device is back in transit. We do not impose a separate late fee — you simply continue paying the rate you signed up for until the device is on its way home. We charge the accrued days to your card on file.
Our marketed "Unlimited Wi-Fi" service is subject to the Fair Use policies of the local carrier in each country we serve. Noomi does not impose its own data caps. See our Fair Use page for the specifics of when and where third-party throttling may occur.
You can cancel a booking for a full refund at any time before the device ships. Once shipped, the rental is non-refundable, except in cases where the device does not arrive before your booked departure, where the device is defective on arrival, or where we are otherwise unable to deliver the service as agreed.
You agree to use the device for personal travel-connectivity purposes. You agree not to use the device to operate a permanent business hotspot, to run high-bandwidth peer-to-peer file sharing, or to conduct illegal activities under the laws of the country where the device is operated. Repeat violations may result in service suspension and forfeiture of the rental fee.
Noomi is not liable for indirect or consequential damages caused by service interruption, carrier throttling, or device malfunction. Maximum liability is limited to the rental fee paid.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active customers by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after a change indicates acceptance.
