Can Noomi charge my phone?

Last updated

Yes — Noomi charges your phone while it's also acting as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Both functions run simultaneously, neither throttles the other. Most travel hotspots are Wi-Fi only — Noomi was built to do both in one pocket device.

Which cables come in the box?

Three cables extend from the side of the device. Nothing extra to pack:

  • USB-C — for modern Android phones, newer iPhones (15 onwards), iPads, most laptops
  • Lightning-compatible — for older iPhones (14 and earlier)
  • Micro-USB — for older Android phones, e-readers, miscellaneous travel gear

How fast does it charge?

USB-C and Lightning-compatible deliver up to 18W (compatible with most fast-charge standards). Micro-USB delivers standard 5W. In practice, you'll get a typical iPhone or Android from 20% to 80% in about 45 minutes via USB-C.

How many phone charges per battery?

About one full phone charge, with up to 28 hours of Wi-Fi sharing on a full battery. Exact mileage depends on your phone and the concurrent Wi-Fi load. The battery pack is 7,000 mAh.

Can I charge two devices at once?

Yes — any two of the three cables can deliver power simultaneously. Total output is shared between them, so charging will be slower than charging a single device.

Does charging slow down Wi-Fi?

No. The Wi-Fi radio and charging circuit are independent. You can stream a 4K video while charging your phone without either slowing down.

How long does the battery last?

Hotspot only (no phone charging): about 15 hours of continuous use. Hotspot + phone charging concurrently: about 8 hours before the device itself needs to be recharged. Recharge the device via the included wall plug — typically 3 hours from empty to full.
