Can I change my Noomi's Wi-Fi password?

Last updated

No — the Wi-Fi password stays as it ships, for the whole rental. That's a Noomi policy. Every Noomi is a rental device that goes back into the fleet after your trip, and it has to come back in a known configuration we can check and re-issue.

Where do I find my password?

Your Noomi arrives with its network name and password already set — you don't create them. How to use your Noomi covers both ways to join: scanning the Wi-Fi QR code, or typing the password. If you type it, mind the case — an uppercase I and a lowercase L, or a zero and an uppercase O, are easy to mistake for each other.

Who can join my network?

Anyone with the password — or with the QR code, which carries the same credentials — up to 10 devices at the same time. Because both travel with the device, keep it in your bag or pocket rather than face-up on a café table, the same care you'd give a hotel key card.

Someone I don't know may be connected — what should I do?

Write to hello@noomi.travel with your order email and what you're seeing. Don't try to change the password yourself. Anything that has to be done to the device is handled by support.

Do I need to change anything back before I return it?

No — leaving it alone is the whole point. Return it exactly as it is; the steps are in how do I return my Noomi.

Still stuck? Write to hello@noomi.travel. A person reads every message.
